I’m going to tell you a bit about how we got here today.

Our CEO is Danielle Aiworo, she is the middle child of 2 amazing siblings. 1 older sister in business law & a younger brother who is special needs. Danielle is currently a 23 year old Biology & Pre-Med Student.

She started this business a year out of high school and the pandemic- 19 years old. She had plans of becoming an interior decorator outside of what she planned on going to school for. She always had an eye for decor especially when it came to homes, but the plans she had for herself, God had other plans. When she started her interior business she never specified what she would and would not do which led people to assume she decorated parties. Due to this she started teaching herself balloons in her bedroom and all the things being an event decorator entailed as she took the jobs. She definitely made mistakes along the way but her mother would always say “that’s business, you may fall but you never stay down, its part of the learning process” and that stuck with her. She faced a lot of struggles and one of the biggest was being young and breaking into a field of grown women who already had their businesses established & their vendors in line, it was truly intimidating but she never gave up on herself, she continued to practice her craft and trust in God because she had truly grown a love for events, even though it was not what she wanted to do . 4 years later she is in a place she could have only dreamed about being 4 years ago & that was how Icy Decor was born.
